InTheMixx: DJ & Life Skills

InTheMixx: DJ & Life Skills program is an evidence-based curriculum combined with digital music in a peer group setting to foster creativity and confidence, with an emphasis of today’s “The Culture” branding.

This future-focus program is comprised of a digitally-based curriculum that utilizes technology through cell phones, social media, videography, music, and current events that impact the youth’s social, mental, and cognitive health development.

Our goal is to empower youth to develop stronger positive social skills, self-esteem, and community advocacy.  InTheMixx program encourages self expression through music and provides the participants an outlet through creative arts, public speaking and cognitive dexterity while helping to build literacy.  We advocate leadership development by having the program participants engage in character building activities.
